New Term
We have lots to achieve this term and first on the list will be completing the Portfolios and writing the evaluation. Of course you all have to finish your film trailers and this MUST now be completed outside of lesson time if we are to be prepared for the exam in June.

- Audit of portfolio and create schedule for completion of trailer.
- Look at example evaluation and identity what they have done well.
- HW - final touches to Portfolio
Tuesday P1&2
- Look at all Controlled Assessments from course.
- Audit of what remains incomplete and needs to be re-drafted, completed or has not even been started and needs to be done from scratch. Any outstanding work will be completed in Friday sessions on revision timetable. Attendance is compulsory until you have work finished.
- Complete and hand-in Assignment 3 portfolio.
- HW - research which were the earliest computer/video games in the UK - begin notes

WEEK 6 - DEVELOPING YOUR PRODUCTION
This week we are going to be developing your productions to the point where you will be able to film during the half term.
It is essential that each group develops a working plan for the shoot.
To help you should refer to the Assignment Handbook in which there are many tips and pointers to success.
However, this week our focus is:

However, this week our focus is:
- Planning your shoot
- Storyboard and/or shot list
- Obeying the conventions of the genre
- Developing your filming skills
You will have time to practice with the equipment and to plan. Your HW will be to continue this so that next week you KNOW what you are going to do.
You will have access to cameras in the last week of term the expectation will be to plan for some filming that week in addition to the half term.
